Why "God is Great Beauty Salon", other than the fact that it was impossible to find a blog name that didn't already exist. Lived in Ghana for a year and was fascinated by how often "God" showed up in names of stores and companies. So, "God is Great Beauty Salon" was one of many, in my opinion, really funny names.

IKEA the new religion of the Swedes.
Tell me about it! I always say that I refuse going to IKEA on a Sunday, and still I've now managed to go there on a Sunday, twice in a months time. Both times I've fooled myself beforehand by thinking: It probably won't be that bad as it's summer and sunny.
